Despite bitter cold, wild and
windy conditions, 30 hardy volunteers undertook the task of surveying all the
visitors to Magog Down on 4th and 8th March 2008. The questionnaire was
designed to discover why people visit the Down; their views and comments will
assist the governors of the Magog Trust in future planning and management of
the Down.
Just over 300 questionnaires were completed. The Magog Trust
would like to thank all those who took part. A very special thank you to the
brave volunteers who stood up to very cold conditions and numb fingers. The
information will be collated and when the report is completed, it will be
displayed on the Magog Down notice board. Written comments and views sent to
the Magog Trust will be very welcome and will be included in the
report.
