| We were much saddened to
learn of the death of The Right Hon. The Lord Pym PC MC DL. He came from an old
land-owning family in Bedfordshire, and went to Eton and then on to Cambridge
and had a long term commitment to the countryside. He was happy to have his name associated with the Magog Trust, as a Patron, from its earliest days. This support gave much encouragement to those involved in the project at the outset and held much weight in their approaches to local businessmen and grant funding bodies. Kathleen Foreman |
