Notice:  Ground-nesting birds:  Control of Dogs

To protect ground-nesting birds on Magog Down this notice is displayed on the Down between 1 March and 31 July.  There is a fenced off-lead dog play area and those taking dogs on to the Down need to be aware of their obligations under the law.

ALL DOGS MUST BE KEPT ON FIXED LEADS
OF LESS THAN 2 METRES
BETWEEN 1 MARCH AND 31 JULY
DURING THE MAIN BIRD NESTING SEASON

DOGS MAY BE OFF LEAD ON THE PERIMETER WALK
AND DOG PLAY AREA
